The rabbit is a common neutral NPC inhabiting the Starting Area, Grassy Field, and The Forest, with 1 defense and 3 health. It is the second lowest-level NPC in Aberoth, behind the bee, and along with it, is one of the first NPCs a new player will encounter. Players have a ~6% chance to turn into a rabbit by drinking a polymorph potion.
AI[]
- Rabbits roam aimlessly around open areas, moving for 2-5 seconds and staying for 3-6 seconds at a time.
- When they are within ~7 pixels of a human or hostile NPC, they will run in the opposite direction, and will keep running for about 1 second after leaving that radius.
- In the grassy field, they will not walk far into thick borders of trees unless chased there. If chased there, they will try to leave the trees when there are no humans nearby.
- Since they are neutral NPCs, they can be chased into other zones. Pet rabbits, however, must be carried into other zones.
