The 'Tree Trick' is an exploit often used when killing Satyrs and especially Satyr Elders.
Placing yourself on one side of a tree will trap a Satyr or Satyr Elder on the other side of the tree, rendering them easily vulnerable as they cannot use their headbutt attack on you. Allowing the Satyr or Satyr Elder to attack you with one hand will usually keep them from exiting the 'trap' you have created.
This trick can also be used with the Minotaur (as seen on the right) to stop headbutts thus decreasing damage taken drastically. You perform this by piling small objects like knives and clubs.
