The scroll of teleportation ("tele" or "tp" for short) is a tier 1 transmutation scroll that teleports its user to a random position in the current zone; it has a magic skill requirement of level 5. The scroll reads "Apotel ego", or "I will bring" in Latin. It is one of the most common and useful items for avoiding PKers and avoiding being trapped by hostile NPCs.

Details

• Using a scroll of potency on a scroll of teleportation teleports you to an exit of your current zone.
• There are three secret areas in the black bat cave that are only accessible through teleportation:
  • The first area is a small triangle-shaped room that will spawn an emerald, pearl, sapphire, and ruby at the beginning of every year's Arcane Realm of Creation.
  • The second area is a small circle-shaped room.
  • The third area is much larger than the other two and is found by teleporting in the upper section of the black bat cave.
• It is possible to teleport into locked chest rooms, but chests cannot be opened until their respective bosses are killed.
• It is impossible to teleport into jail.

Sources

• Shamans occasionally spawn with 1 or 2, but they will usually use one when they are low on health.
• It drops commonly from the Grand Shaman's chest.
• It drops commonly from the Plague Rat's nest.
• It drops commonly from coffins.
• It has about a 6.25% chance to be received from Magerlin's firewood quest.

Prices

• Lysis buys scrolls of teleportation for 51 gold and sells them for 200 gold.
• Darklow buys them for 41 gold and sells them for 225 gold.
• Players buy and sell scrolls of teleportation for 800 to 1,000 gold.
