The pearl is a rare gem used to craft Shields of the Oasis and to repair rings of damage. It can be held in small, large, and spacious pouches. It cannot be engraved.

- Lysis can repair a broken ring of damage with a pearl and 7,500 gold.

- When a player has been a member for 50 days, a quest will be given to them ("You overheard Tavelor talking excitedly about his supper.") requiring they speak to Tavelor about "oysters" or "supper", after which Tavelor will drop a pearl.
- At the beginning of each year's Arcane Realm of Creation, a pearl will spawn in the secret triangular room of the Black Bat Cave along with an emerald, sapphire, and ruby.
