The long sword is the stronger of the two swords in Aberoth, with 10 attack and 7 pixels of range. The long sword is the third strongest weapon that can be used without a weapon skill, making it very common among low-level players. Some low-level players may opt to buy a long sword instead of a mace from Sholop because of the sword's longer range (the longest in the game).
