The forest ring is a mid-level ring with 5 or 8 defense (see below). Based on its value and rarity the forest ring is not very impressive, granting 5 defense. When a forest ring is held near trees, in The Forest, or on a hand with a forest dagger, it picks up a subtle gleam and its defense increases from 5 to 8. When the dagger and the forest ring are on the same hand and one is removed, the player will receive a notification that "The Forest Set has been separated." It is the second-best defensive ring in Aberoth, behind the 7-defense ring of defense.

• Lysis buys forest rings for 226 gold and sells them for 1500.
• Darklow buys forest rings for 181 gold and sells them for 1655 (1820 if engraved).
• Tavelor will engrave the forest ring for 389 gold.
